We're a husband and wife family business, the third generation of New Zealand producers, our parents and grandparents having been involved with the New Zealand Manuka Honey and New Zealand wool trade for over 50 years.
Inspiration for Kai Tonic came from a visit to China in 2013 where we saw first hand and learnt about the value of food as medicine and the use of tonic soups for health, well-being and recovery. After four years of research, testing and refinement we’re proud to present New Zealand’s first premium freeze-dried tonic soup.
We work hard to source the most potent and powerful ingredients New Zealand has to offer and use the best freeze-drying methods to protect their value and create highly nutritious, intensely flavoursome Kai Tonic.
Purity and security are a foundation of our business. We use 100% NZ ingredients, there are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in Kai Tonic. We only use sustainably harvested seafood and we use organics whenever we can. We also ensure all of our premium New Zealand ingredients can be traced back to their source.
